Job overview

Enfield County is a vibrant, dynamic and non-denominational school. It is a split-site comprehensive girls’ school for 11 to 18 year olds, based in the London Borough of Enfield; there are currently 1,200 students on roll.
It has been deemed ‘outstanding’ at its last three Ofsted inspections, the latest being in 2012.

Due to the retirement of the current Headteacher in December 2017, the Governors of Enfield County School are looking to recruit a new Headteacher. Applications are invited from exceptional, motivated and inspirational individuals who can evidence their proven track record of successful school leadership
and experience at Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher level in the secondary school arena.

Our intake is a true reflection of the diverse nature of our communities. Our students go on to university, further training or employment; this includes a significant proportion who progress to various Russell Group universities.

You will work with a supportive governing body and highly effective senior leadership team to maintain standards,further develop our outstanding provision and continue to build opportunities for our students to excel.
