This position has become available due to the current Headteacher applying for early retirement from September 2017. The Governors are looking for someone with the right skills to take Fairfield Primary School to outstanding at its next inspection. Our school will provide an outstanding career development opportunity for many existing Headteachers / Senior Leaders, with full support of governors for continued outstanding professional development.

Fairfield Primary School is located within easy reach of Liverpool, Manchester and Chester with excellent links to the motorway network.

As the ideal candidate you will:

  • Demonstrate outstanding leadership and management experience.
  • Have a proven track record in school improvement and of successfully implementing initiatives to raise standards.
  • Be able to analyse school data and identify next steps for each cohort.
  • Have a clear vision for future strategic developments in education and be able to develop robust school improvement plans to implement that vision.
  • Have a sound appreciation of financial matters in planning for the continued development of the School.
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and inspire colleagues, pupils and parents.
