The Governors are looking to appoint a headteacher who has a passion for giving all children the best possible education and who would be excited to lead the next phase of our development. Our current headteacher is retiring after 11 very successful years.

  • You have proven experience of management and leadership, and of inspiring and motivating teachers, children and parents.

  • You know how to reach out to other schools and develop links across the local community as well as on the national stage
  • You will be committed to securing excellent professional development for all staff

About Jack Tizard School

Jack Tizard is a special school for pupils aged 2 to 19 years with a range of Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), including Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). We are a happy, friendly school where pupils are encouraged and supported to learn and achieve. Each child and young person within our school is treated as a unique individual and, our multi-disciplinary approach to learning, provides the opportunities for them to reach their full potential. Our school community is diverse and our families are supportive.

Our staff are highly valued and we offer a supportive environment.  Staff wellbeing is important to us and we also offer access to a free employee assistance programme.  As an employee of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham you will also be enrolled into the local government pension scheme.
