The successful candidate will share our passion and care for the children, the staff, and the community. They will be a motivated individual with a passion for learning for all, who can demonstrate excellence and enthusiasm within their practice and can provide outstanding learning opportunities to enable all our children to achieve the highest standards as well as supporting the pupils who are in our Stargazers Provision (ARMS).

We serve a diverse community in the London Borough of Harrow. Standards are good, pupils and teachers are fantastic and we are ambitious for even more!

  • Are you a team player looking to join a creative, forward thinking school?
  • Are you a visionary who creates learning that is able to transform lives?
  • Do you want to be part of an Inclusive mainstream school with new SEND Provision that values Mental Health and Wellbeing?

If yes, Belmont school is the school for you. We are a vibrant community with clear goals and beliefs that act as a foundation for everything that we do. We teach pupils to become future leaders by planning personalised and well-sequenced learning. The UNICEF Rights Respecting Agenda and pupil voice, wellbeing, behaviour and safeguarding, are strengths of our popular and multicultural school. Our Belmont motto is ‘Stronger Together’ and we promote this through our staff teams, wellbeing support and collaborative working across Key Stages for staff and pupils. We know that investing in our staff is the most important priority in order to deliver the best outcomes for pupils. We offer a bespoke CPD programme both within the school and through local and national providers.

We are looking for an inspirational Headteacher who:

  • Is passionate about making a positive difference to children’s lives within a culturally diverse community.
  • Is ambitious and optimistic for the children, the wider community and our staff, never afraid to set challenging targets and goals.
  • Is resilient, adaptable and able to deal with complexity and challenge.
