Formed in September 2019 from the federation of Oak Farm Nursery and Infant & Oak Farm Junior Schools, The Oak Farm Federation is now at an exciting time in our development as we look to appoint an outstanding individual to take on the leadership of our schools, building upon our successes to deliver a vision of excellence. 

Our highly regarded schools which are based in the heart of the London Borough of Hillingdon share a vision; reflective of the communities that we serve, that aims to enable our pupils to achieve the best possible outcomes and continue to thrive as they move through their educational journey. Our building which has been improved and maintained to reflect the needs of our pupils is shared between our two schools & has excellent links to the local urban centres of Uxbridge and Harrow & is easily commutable from the M40, M25 and London Underground. 

The ideal candidate for this role will be an existing Headteacher who has proven experience of leading whole school responsibilities across the primary age range. You will also;

  • Be able to think strategically and clearly communicate a vision of excellence that sets high standards for every pupil;
  • Know how to proficiently collect, interpret and evaluate school data in order to develop a highlight and build upon school strengths as well as providing insight into areas for greater development;
  • Demonstrate the ability to embrace and enable change in a manner which exemplifies the qualities, vision and ethos of our school.

Shortlisting Dates: Tuesday 25 & Wednesday 26 February 2020.

Interview and Assessment Dates: Tuesday 10 March – candidates who are successful on the first day will be invited to take part in the second day (Wednesday 11 March). 

The interview and assessment process will involve several tasks to test the shortlisted candidates’ ability in specific areas related to school leadership. Full details will be provided to those candidates who are shortlisted. Psychometric Assessments will also be used as a part of the assessment process.
