We are a thriving 11 – 19 co-educational school at the heart of the local community. Hollyfield is a school ready to take next step and become a great school; in every way. Our students are fantastic and are drawn from a wide range of backgrounds across Kingston upon Thames. Our school serves the most deprived and the most privileged areas of the local area, in which we are proud to be the inclusive and aspirational school of choice. Our A level and GCSE results add value, with both above national averages. Our students have high expectations of themselves as we do of them. Visitors to the school often comment on the vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere that permeates the school from staff and students.

We are part of the ‘Every Child, Every Day Trust’ and our ethos should be clear in our name. We are currently a group of three mixed comprehensive schools with the single aim of providing exceptional experiences and opportunities for the thousands of young people we serve. Our outgoing Headteacher is getting married this summer and will be moving to be with his partner in Suffolk. We are looking for a new Headteacher who shares the values of our school and who is aspirational for the school going forward. Much has been achieved in the last years but we seek to continue to grow and improve. As trustees and governors we have a sensible understanding of the challenges as head for schools. We seek to be critical friends in support of the new Headteacher driving standards and culture.

We are seeking to appoint a Headteacher driven by moral purpose with the skills to ensure that The Hollyfield School is a place of excellence for learning. The post is suitable for a Deputy Head ready to take the next step and equally for a serving Headteacher ready for a new challenge. The successful candidate will use energy, strategy and enthusiasm to make sure all in the Hollyfield community are able to thrive.
