The Governors invite applications for the post of Headteacher of our outstanding Church of England Primary School. Barrowford is a thriving Pendle-side village with excellent motorway links.

We are looking for a Headteacher who:

- has substantial and current experience as a senior leader in a primary school

- is a practising Christian who will sustain and develop the ethos and values of this Church of England School

- will develop the principles, strategies and practice of self-improvement and self-evaluation

- will build upon and sustain effective relationships with parents, carers, church, other schools and partners and the broader community that enhance the education of all pupils

- can provide evidence of regular, recent and appropriate professional development for the role of Headteacher.

Pre-interview visit for shortlisted candidates: Monday 25th February, 2019. It is possible that shortlisted candidates may be required to undertake some selection tasks on the pre-interview visit.

The post you are applying for is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013). If successful you will be required to apply to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) for a 'disclosure'.
