Richmond House School in Leeds is seeking an outstanding and inspiring individual to take up the post of Headteacher from September 2020.
Richmond House achieved “excellent” in every category in its last ISI inspection and delivers a high quality education to all its pupils regardless of their background.
Located in Headingley in Leeds, Richmond House School educates children from 3 - 11 years of age. It draws pupils from all areas of the city and beyond, and delivers an excellent education, academically and pastorally, with an outstanding reputation for achievements in music and sport. Set in over 10 acres of sports fields, including its own yurt classroom and outdoor learning area, the school offers a strong blend of traditional and modern delivery of all aspects of the curriculum to its pupils. The school has also recently opened a new Early Years building designed to create an exceptional learning environment for its youngest children.
The successful candidate will be an engaging and dynamic individual with a real passion for leading a school where children are happy to learn. They must possess strong managerial skills necessary to lead a committed and motivated team and have a real understanding of how to lead an independent preparatory school in the North of England.
