We are looking for a talented, caring and inspirational leader for our outstanding infant school, set in the beautiful surroundings of Limpsfield Common, near Oxted, Surrey. Our pupils are at the heart of all we do: we seek someone who shares our commitment to knowing, nurturing and supporting every child in achieving to the best of their ability.

Limpsfield C of E Infant School has many distinctive features:

• Rated outstanding by both Ofsted (June 2013) and Section 48 (November 2017) church inspections
• Experienced teachers running local hubs in Science and PE help support a rich and diverse curriculum.
• Forest School and outdoor learning set within National Trust land
• Great Learner Project, developing pupil aptitudes and independence from an early age

• Provide inspiring, enthusiastic leadership based upon a love of working with children and a deep knowledge of teaching and learning
• Lead our collective worship and the programme of Religious Education whilst maintaining the close links with our parish and diocese
• Be a great listener and communicator, with a desire to take a practical ‘hands-on’ role in helping our pupils and staff continue to maximise their potential
• Maintain a flexible and creative outlook to make the most of new opportunities for our school

The governing body want to find the right person for our school; length of experience is less important than finding an outstanding teacher with a flair for leadership and the strength to lead successfully through challenges.
