Due to our current head relocating, the governing body, staff, parents and, of course, the children of Sir Francis Hill are looking for a Head teacher to take us forward to the next stage in our school's journey.
Our thriving local community Primary school is situated in the heart of Lincoln City. We pride ourselves on providing a varied, fun and engaging curriculum. Our goal is that every child is able to 'Learn, Achieve and Succeed' to the very best of their ability and thereby reach their own potential. We aim to ensure that all the children who are educated at Sir Francis Hill enjoy coming to school and gain an enthusiasm and love for learning that will continue throughout their lives.

The School History
The school in Bristol Drive opened its doors as Boultham Junior in 1952 and changed to Boultham Middle in the 1970s. Many authorities throughout the country changed to this system, which meant that an extra year was added to the junior stage and 12 year old children stayed for a final year.
In 1975 the school was honoured by Sir Francis Hill giving consent to his name being incorporated into a new name for the school. In 1984, the school took in infants and became a primary school. Sir Francis Hill was recognised internationally as a fine scholar and man of outstanding ability. He was a historian and former Mayor of the City of Lincoln.
The original school for Boultham stood close to the old railway which used to bypass the City Centre. Anyone looking for evidence of the school or indeed the railway would need to look for clues in the area towards the end of Boultham Park Road. Further records of the old school's early history are also contained in log books dating back to 1898.
