Job overview

The Governors of this one form entry school wish to appoint an inspirational and experienced teacher to succeed the current highly effective Headteacher. You will continue to take our school from its current Ofsted rating (2012) of Good with Outstanding features to formal recognition of our Local Authority Lead Inspector’s assessment (April 2016) that we are now Outstanding in all aspects.

We are looking for a person who:

  • has the ability to fully support and build on the strong inclusive Christian ethos and values of the school and close links with the Parish Church

  • is passionate about ensuring each child fulfills its potential

  • has high expectations of staff and pupils and through vision and high quality leadership can inspire them to achieve these

  • will promote and support staff development

  • will continue our outstanding pastoral commitment

  • has good organizational skills and will communicate effectively with pupils, parents, all staff and governors

  • is knowledgeable and forward looking about new initiatives in education to enable us to meet the challenges of the years to come
