The Directors of Gardener Schools Group are seeking to recruit an able, enthusiastic, creative and ambitious school leader to join a thriving schools group.
The Directors of the Gardener Schools Group invite applications for the post of Head Teacher to succeed Mark Hudson, who, after seven successful years as the School’s founding Head, will be retiring. The post is vacant as of September 2020, when Mr Hudson will take up the role of Director of Leadership for the Gardener Schools Group.
Kew House School is a co-educational ISC day school, founded in 2013. Situated near to the River Thames by Kew Bridge, Kew House School is highly successful, providing education of the highest quality and having established itself reputationally in the local area. With roughly 600 children on roll, aged 11-18, Kew House is the third of four schools which form the Gardener Schools Group.
Kew House School takes a modern and pioneering approach to every aspect of school life, providing a rich and broad education to all students whatever their specialism, pursuing excellence in all areas whether examinable or not. Whilst the aim is to achieve the highest academic results for each student, the school does not serve as an examination “factory” and is not bound by current conventions and practice. Whilst retaining the core traditional values in place at the Group’s preparatory schools, bold decisions about curriculum, timetabling and the length and shape of the school day and term have allowed the GSG to align the school with the lives of students and parents.
The Directors of Gardener Schools Group are seeking to recruit an able, enthusiastic, creative and ambitious school leader to join a thriving schools group. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a highly successful school, providing education of the highest quality and having established itself reputationally in the local area.
