Icknield Primary is a vibrant and friendly school. In the latest Ofsted report, published in 2017, the school was graded as “Good”. On behalf of Governors, staff and children, we are now seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Headteacher to lead the school, building on the existing strengths and achievements and delivering high quality outcomes.

We are a large, diverse and fully inclusive primary school with 612 pupils that encompasses a Hearing Impaired Provision and an Outreach service for the Local Authority.

Our vision for the school is "Everyone working together, feeling safe to learn, rising to challenge and achieving their very best". We are reminded every day in school to believe in ourselves and to follow our 3Cs of Care, Co-operation and Communication.

We are very proud of our school and the achievements of our pupils and staff. We are looking for an inspirational, creative and energetic Headteacher to take our school from good to outstanding.
