Headteacher

Due to retirement, the governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, talented, and values driven new Headteacher to lead our already highly successful school through its next phase of development, in partnership with staff, governors, and parents.

Grasmere is a friendly, popular, multi-ethnic school which has a strong culture of providing a nurturing, learning environment where everyone feels valued, situated in North Luton. We take children from 3 months up to 5 years of age and offer places for 15 and 30 hours.

We believe in an inclusive environment and equal opportunities for all our children who we believe learn about the world they live in by immersing themselves in rich experiences. We are fortunate enough to have our own orchard and our animals including tortoises, guinea pigs and snails.

We place substantial importance and value on engagement with our parents and carers.

Our next Head will be:

• A School Leader with a track record of achieving excellent outcomes and progress for young children with experience of successfully managing teams and managing change
• The ability to think strategically and the vision and commitment to build on the existing exciting developments within the school and to forge new paths
• Extensive understanding, experience, and a record of accomplishment of success in managing all aspects of safeguarding children and staff
• Experience of carefully managing budgets and an understanding of the current pressures faced by nursery schools
