We are a vibrant, nurturing school where children are valued, happy, well-behaved and enjoy learning. Currently rated as Good by Ofsted, we have many recognised strengths with no significant improvements identified. A very popular school, we are over-subscribed and working on plans to manage the increasing demand for places.

There is clearly much potential and with a highly committed, experienced, and loyal staff, strong relationships with parents and carers and a supportive governing body, there is much to look forward to.

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational, committed and experienced professional with a remit to further shape our improvement plan while continuing to raise standards.

Able to effectively motivate, inspire and influence our children, staff and stakeholders, you will assume responsibility for all aspects of school life. This will include directing our strategic planning, leading curriculum development and, above all, delivering an outstanding provision which meets the needs of all our young people and aims for excellence.

To succeed, you must be a proven leader and manager with a good understanding of the needs and demands of a rural school and a clear vision for our future. You must also have the ability to maintain and further develop our team and maximise pupil achievement. In addition, you must have the ability to analyse data and oversee budgets.
