Owing to the retirement of both of our Headteachers, the amalgamation of Whitefriars Infant and Junior schools from September 2017 provides an exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious leader to bring two good schools together and take the new school to an outstanding level. The children, staff and governors of the two schools are seeking to appoint an exceptional and inspirational Headteacher to build on the significant achievements and positive caring ethos of our popular school communities joining them together and taking them forward in a caring and sensitive way.
We are looking for a Headteacher who…
- is an experienced senior leader ready to rise to the challenge of amalgamating two good schools, transforming them for the benefit of all pupils
- is an ambitious, experienced and confident leader, ready to meet the challenges and opportunities presented by a rapidly changing educational landscape and fulfill the potential made possible by amalgamation
- recognises the value of a collaborative learning community
- promotes an outward facing approach to work with other schools and strives to strengthen links with the wider community
- is able to command credibility and respect through inspirational leadership, demonstrating self-confidence, enthusiasm, humour and integrity
