The role

As an existing and well established College, Ofsted regulated and twice outstanding accredited, St Andrew's College has its place right in the heart of FitzRoy House, the largest purpose built inpatient facility for young people internationally.

The state of the art college provides education across a broad curriculum to 13-18 year olds. You will be responsible for leading a highly committed and professional education team of 30 staff.

St Andrew's College provides young people with the expertise and facilities to improve academic skills or gain additional qualifications, wherever they happen to be in their educational development.

You will also be ideally placed to develop your career through teaching, mentoring and coaching, and extensive opportunities for CPD, training and progression.

About you

Our goal is to be a world class centre of excellence across our services, our research and our educational activities. That means we’re ideally looking for a credible leader with successful experience as a Principal/Head Teacher or Deputy. You will be experienced in implementing strategies to raise learner achievements, while ensuring high quality teaching and assessment. You will be expected to be highly skilled in delivering excellence and best practice in teaching and learning while offering a high level of financial awareness.
