Amble First School is situated in a small, coastal town, which is famed for its attractive scenery, abundant wildlife, working harbour and compelling history.

The Governing Body of this thriving and popular First School seeks to appoint an exceptional and enthusiastic Headteacher, who may have a small teaching commitment, to lead and be part of the committed staff within this growing school from 1st September 2017.

Our new Head Teacher will:

• Encourage a love of learning in our pupils, parents and community.
• Inspire, develop and enable pupils and staff to lead, and improve their own expertise.
• Be an outstanding leader who builds upon the strengths of the school enabling the school to further improve.

• Understand the importance of developing creativity, independent thinking and emotional intelligence.
• Be an excellent communicator who is able to gain trust and build relationships, taking the time to listen and respond to needs.
