Do you have the highest expectations for every member of the school community?

Are you able to win hearts and minds with your inspirational vision for school improvement?

Are you passionate about high-quality teaching and learning?

Do you have interpersonal, communication and leadership skills of the highest order?

Do you have the experience, skills, insights and determination to lead this ambitious school to be judged as securely good when next inspected by Ofsted?

If you can answer yes to these five questions, we would love to hear from you.

We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead Oakbank School forward into the next chapter of its journey to success. Oakbank School is part of Anthem Schools Trust, a multi-academy trust serving over 8,000 children and young people in 16 schools across the East Midlands, London and the Thames Valley.

Oakbank School is a small school with a caring and inclusive ethos. It is known for its calm classrooms, strong focus on behaviour and a highly committed staff body.

We are looking to appoint a Headteacher with a proven track record at either Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher level. As a senior leader in our organisation, the post-holder would be expected to embrace Anthem’s values of integrity, collaboration and excellence and work closely with other schools across the Trust, whilst enjoying the autonomy to further develop the Academy’s distinctive ethos.

We provide high-quality leadership coaching and professional development and the opportunity to play a key role in a dynamic and ambitious multi-academy trust. We would consider a relocation package for the right candidate.

More information about this exciting opportunity can be found in the recruitment pack at the end of this page

Prospective applicants are strongly encouraged to arrange an informal discussion with Jane Coley, Secondary Education Director, in the first instance. Visits to the school are also welcome. To arrange an informal call or visit to the school, please contact the recruitment team on 01189 021 637 or by email: recruitment@anthemtrust.uk
