We need an experienced, outstanding leader who thrives on the daily challenges of inclusive, inner city, multi-cultural education.

Camelot continues to make significant progress, reflected in our published results. Our most recent Ofsted inspection (October 2013) recognised our capacity for continued improvement. Camelot is currently in a complex phase of development so you will need to have extensive skills, knowledge and experience to successfully lead this demanding school.   • Inclusive, multi lingual and multi-cultural; 71.6% have EAL.

About Bird In Bush School

Located in The London Borough of Southwark, Bird in Bush School is a primary school for children aged 3-11. With around 500 pupils, it is significantly larger than the average school of its type. Bird In Bush Primary has a large and extremely diverse catchment area both culturally and economically, a fact reflected in its student intake. The school runs numerous additional activities and provision for students, including a breakfast club. The school received additional funding in order to run its PE and sports programmes.

Bird In Bush Primary School works hard in order to provide a broad and diverse curriculum, in order to best meet the needs of the diverse range of students who attend the school. The school seeks to foster a strong sense of community among its pupils, encouraging them to show pride in their achievements and their surroundings. Outside of the classroom, Bird in Bush Primary offers a range of after-school clubs, in order to encourage pupils to further their personal development and to help prepare them for life in secondary school.
