  • Strong links with the church of Holy Trinity.
  • A commitment to your continued professional development.
  • A wonderful opportunity to make your own mark!

You will bring:

  • A proven track record with high expectations to lead by example.
  • The ability to engage and forge positive links with staff, children and parents.
  • Your ability to live out personal Christian faith with our wider school community.
  • An ability to turn challenging situations into positive outcomes.

Thank you for showing an interest in Park Street School – a voluntary aided primary school.

There has been a Church of England School in the village of Frogmore and Park Street since 1831. The present school building dates from 1900 and extensive alterations have been carried out to the building since this date.

Two new large classrooms for our Infant children were opened in 2005. We have a spacious Foundation Stage Unit for Nursery and Reception, and four Junior classrooms.

Outside there is an extensive playing field, bordered by the Moor Mill Conservation Area, with climbing equipment and playgrounds for play and physical education.

There is a relaxed atmosphere where everybody is regarded as equally important and where it is recognised that we all have a role to play in maintaining the high standards, both academic and social, for which we have become known.

Underlying everything done in the school is the aim to provide a caring and supportive environment, through Christian teaching and example, in which children of all abilities and aptitudes can work and play hard, reach their full potential academically, grow in independence and establish relationships which are secure, considerate, open and warm.

Visitors of Park Street C of E Primary School frequently comment on the calm, well-behaved atmosphere throughout the school. We believe that children feel happy and secure in this environment, and this in turn creates the best possible attitudes to learning.

We have strong links with Holy Trinity Church, Frogmore with the Vicar taking weekly assemblies and two services a year in the Church.

The working relationship with parents is warm and highly valued whilst the flourishing Park Street School Association raises funds and widens the involvement of families. Governors work hard to fulfil their role and contribute to the strategic direction and development of the school.
