We are looking for an experienced leader to join our energetic team and continue our school improvement journey so that all our children achieve their potential. Job share working arrangements may be considered.

Rushmere Hall is:

  • a popular and growing primary school in north east Ipswich with a nursery and two specialist units to support children with speech and language needs and hearing impairments
  • undergoing a rolling programme of expansion, taking us to three forms in each year group by September 2017
  • a school with a welcoming environment, committed staff, a strong governing body and lively and enthusiastic children (roll: 559)

You will be:

  • an experienced primary headteacher or deputy head with a passion for outstanding education, and the talent to motivate staff and pupils to achieve their best
  • someone who demonstrates excellent communication skills and an ability to manage competing priorities
  • determined to inspire others, deliver change, raise standards and secure a positive future for Rushmere Hall.

Our recent HMI monitoring visit recognised the positive improvements we have made towards a 'good' rating. We have high aspirations for our school, its staff and its pupils. Help us to achieve these.
