Farringdon Community Academy is an inclusive single Academy within a Multi Academy Trust. Ofsted judged the Academy to require improvement in November 2016 and governors and directors are seeking to appoint a committed, experienced and enthusiastic leader to lead the Academy in regaining a judgement of good at its next inspection and to henceforth become an outstanding Academy.

Governors seek an individual who has effective senior leadership experience and a proven track record of success in secondary school improvement.

Applicants will need to demonstrate their ability to inspire, challenge, support and empower others to drive forward a strategic vision for the Academy against a background of educational change.

Please note that we do not accept CVs. Suitability to work with children will be checked and this post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and will be subject to a DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
