We are seeking to appoint an inspirational special educational practitioner as Headteacher of Pond Meadow School. 

The successful candidate will be a dedicated leader, committed to supporting staff and pupils alike, fostering the values of learning, independence, respect and equality from throughout the school. 

The role will require the ability to manage the people, finances and physical resources that comprise this busy and successful school. 

The Headteacher will be responsible for continuing the outstanding education at Pond Meadow, reviewing provision on an ongoing basis and implementing a vision and strategy in which curricular outcomes and other opportunities enable all pupils to flourish.

A recruitment pack consisting of information booklet including a letter from the chair of governors, application form, and an equalities monitoring form can be downloaded below.

Interested candidates are strongly encouraged to arrange tours of the school prior to completing their application. This should be done by emailing office@pond-meadow.surrey.sch.uk by Friday 27 September.

Applications should consist of completed application and equalities monitoring forms accompanied by a supporting statement of no more than 500 words addressing candidate’s motivation for applying, experience and suitability for the role, and your vision for special education and leading Pond Meadow. These should emailed to office@pond-meadow.surrey.sch.uk by Monday 30 September 2019.
