Our current headteacher is retiring having built a successful and oversubscribed school and a strong and respected personal reputation. We are judged to be 'Good' by Ofsted, October 2015.

This is an exciting opportunity for the next headteacher of Denton Community College.

You will:-

About Denton Community College

Located in the town of Denton, Greater Manchester, Denton Community College is a co-educational secondary school with places for around 1,350 pupils aged 11-16. It was founded in 2010 after the merger of two local schools, Egerton Park Arts College and Two Trees Sports College.

In 2012, having previously been spread across two sites, the school opened a brand-new purpose-built site.

The school provides a dynamic and deep curriculum, with the intention of ensuring that every pupil is given the opportunity to explore a subject they enjoy.

The secondary school aims to create good citizens as well as good students. The importance of community, responsibility and respect is stressed at all levels of the school.

Motto

Our School motto of ‘INSPIRE, ASPIRE, PERFORM’ unites us and underpins everything we do at Denton Community College. This expression forms our ethos, drives our curriculum and reminds us of our common goal to ensure all students reach their full potential.

We see it as a privilege to be entrusted with the education of young people and understand that every child is different. As an inclusive centre for learning, we never lose sight of this and are adaptable, flexible and creative with our provision.

We recognise that every child that passes through our door forms part of the future of our school, our wider community and the wider world.
