Can you lead our wonderful, inclusive, primary school on the next phase of its
development? Stanley Primary School is seeking a Headteacher who will build on our recent ‘Good’ Ofsted Judgement to make us the first choice for all our local families.

Stanley is a community primary school in Teddington, a fantastic place for families in the London Borough of Richmond. We have recently benefitted from a major investment in building giving us capacity for four forms of entry and a 52 place Pre-School; our nursery for 3-4 year olds. Our buildings are designed to make a big school welcoming for all ages of children, and we make full use of our extensive indoor and outside spaces, including a swimming pool. We are proud of our 18- place specialist resource for children on the autism spectrum who benefit from mainstream integration.

We focus on ensuring all children make the best academic progress they can, and we are committed to developing their self-confidence, self-esteem, and their ability to work co-operatively, through a rich curriculum including art, performing arts, music and sports. In addition we benefit from excellent pre- and after-school provision. We ensure our disadvantaged pupils benefit appropriately from the wide variety of clubs we offer.

Our next Headteacher will:

• create a compelling vision and strategy for the school, which inspires staff to drive achievement to the highest possible level in all areas of the school’s work;
• ensure Stanley is an inclusive school where every child is given the opportunity to experience success and achieve their highest potential;
• proactively promote Stanley as the first choice school for local families.
