ACE Tiverton Special School We have a new exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for a new step within their career. ACE Schools Multi Academy Trust is looking for an ambitious Headteacher to lead on the formation of a new free school in the Tiverton area. The new school will be a special school for 11 to 16 year olds with ASC and or SEMH needs.

The successful candidate will have:  

• The drive, vision, ambition and energy to achieve excellence for all our pupils  

• The ability and the vision to move the school  

• The passion to provide the best possible learning and teaching across the primary and secondary curriculum  

• The experience to be the designated safeguarding lead and to ensure that our children are protected 

• Proven leadership abilities and demonstrable skills as an imaginative, innovative, resourceful and decisive leader, with the ability to inspire, motivate and stretch colleagues through support and appropriate challenge  

• An understanding of the current educational climate with regards to academisation and a willingness to continuously explore all future options for the school  

• A sound and demonstrable knowledge of how to meet the educational, social and emotional needs of pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities.
