Orleans Park School is a highly successful 11-18 mixed comprehensive school where governors, parents, staff and students are proud of its inclusivity ensuring every student is important and seen as an individual. It has 1350 students including an academic sixth form of over 250 students. 

Following nine years of successful leadership, our current Headteacher is retiring.

We are looking for an exceptional and committed Headteacher with a proven track record in educational leadership.

Our successful candidate will be:   

  • A current Headteacher or Senior Leader with substantial and successful experience of school leadership;   
  • Committed to the wellbeing, progress and achievement of every student who are at the heart of everything they do; 
  • Focussed on sustaining our unique culture where students experience a positive, nurturing and enriching school life; 
  • An inspirational teacher with a clear passion for education who leads by example with professionalism and integrity; 
  • Able to foster a community where everyone feels welcome, supported, valued and treated with respect.

During our last Ofsted Inspection (November 2017) we were graded as Outstanding.

  • Tuesday 8 February afternoon 2 - 4pm 
  • Wednesday 9 February morning 9 - 11am

In November 2023, Ofsted recognised that Orleans Park continues to be an outstanding school. They said "Pupils thrive at this school. They are happy, safe and achieve very well" and that the school has "a broad and ambitious curriculum for all pupils". "Pupils build very respectful, working relationships with each other and with staff. Pupils learn to be responsible and reflect on their own actions. This results in very positive behaviour and exemplary attitudes to learning".
