The Governors of Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint a new Headteacher with the capacity, vision and energy to lead the school into a new and exciting future; someone who:

  • Is a practising Catholic, committed to the ethos and vision of Catholic Education in today’s society;
  • Has the vision, passion and motivation to respond to changes in primary education and continually raise standards and expectations in our already successful school;
  • Can create a culture of excellence amongst staff and pupils alike, where the children are at the centre of first rate learning opportunities;
  • Has a strong belief that every child has unique gifts and can and should achieve their maximum potential;
  • Can provide confident and inspirational leadership for staff, pupils, and the wider school community.

Informal visits to school are warmly encouraged and can be arranged by calling Mrs Lesley Szczepanek in the school office on 01925 633270 (after 5th September when the school re-opens after the summer holidays).  Candidates will be shown around by a member of staff and a Governor who will answer any questions.

The post-holder would be ably supported by the current Acting Headteacher and members of the Senior Leadership team.

This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  The successful applicant will be subject to satisfactory clearance by the Disclosure and Barring Service.

The preferred start date is for January 2017 but for a suitable candidate, a later date would be considered.
