Headteacher

Our current Headteacher will retire at the end of this academic year after many years of dedicated and inspiring service. We are now keen to appoint a successor who is a strong, enthusiastic, and supportive Leader, who is passionate about the pursuit of excellence in teaching and learning and has a love of working with children.

Robert Sandilands is a good school and we wish to appoint a new Headteacher with the wisdom, experience and confidence to build on our school’s strengths and to ensure we provide an outstanding educational experience for our pupils.

We are looking for a candidate who has -

• A passion for excellent primary education and a natural rapport with, and respect for, children
• The skills to inspire and lead improvement in academic achievement and social development
• A focus on creating a positive learning environment which enables strong progress for children of all abilities
• A commitment to the promotion of continuous professional development for all staff
• A desire to participate in all aspects of school life and its community.
