The Governing Body of St Peter’s CofE (VA) School, Henfield is seeking to appoint a Headteacher from September 2018. We need a resilient, dynamic and innovative leader with proven experience of rapid school improvement. The candidate will provide robust, strategic leadership and ensure a child-centred approach to education which will enable continuous progressive improvement for all pupils’ learning. Fostering confidence, ambition and motivation in staff will be a priority as well as promoting and delivering a positive and exciting learning experience for pupils, where teaching and learning will be consistently good.

St Peter’s CofE (Voluntary Aided) School is a large primary school at the heart of a vibrant community in Henfield, very close to the South Downs, and only 10 miles from Brighton. The Governing Body have aspirations to see this distinctively Christian school continue to be rooted at the centre of the surrounding village and the local church community.
