Due to the retirement of the Headteacher, the Governors are seeking to appoint a dynamic, inspirational and passionate leader ideally for April 2023, although this could be extended to September 2023 for the right candidate.

Buckingham Park Primary is situated in the lovely West Sussex seaside town of Shoreham-by-Sea between Brighton and Worthing at the entrance to the South Downs National Park. It is a large primary school, with 547 pupils on role and highly regarded in the local community. The school was Judged good by Ofsted in 2018 and is on its journey to becoming outstanding.

We are looking for a Headteacher who has the enthusiasm, vision and talent to build on the school’s solid foundations and many strengths. Someone who is creative and collaborative to take the school forward leading through proven experience of building successful teams and devising systems to drive performance and achievement of pupils and staff.
