Our Headteacher retires in December, therefore we are now looking for a talented and dynamic leader to maintain and grow the vibrant learning environment here at Warnham from January 2018.

Warnham CE Primary is a small, voluntary controlled Church of England Primary School. We are a rapidly improving school with a strong team of committed and supportive staff, governors and parents. We have close links to the Church and we are proud of our close knit community.

Our overall vision at Warnham is underpinned in our mission statement: ‘space to grow, wings to fly, shining for our maker’. Our aims are: for every child to feel confident and valued as individuals; for each child to have pride in their strengths and achievements; for every child to succeed both academically and socially; and for the children to develop mutual respect for one another. We believe this will lead our children to becoming effective, caring members of society.

We are looking for:

  • An inspirational and passionate individual who can demonstrate excellent leadership and management skills and who has a clear vision for the development of our school.
  • A leader who will actively support and promote the strong Christian ethos of the school.
  • A good communicator who can motivate their team.
  • Someone with high expectations for children’s achievements and behaviour.
  • A candidate who will demonstrate an excellent understanding of teaching and learning to ensure that achievement is improved and maintained in all subjects.
  • Someone who will continue to provide the happy and safe learning environment we have achieved here at Warnham.

We can offer:

  • Hardworking and happy children with a passion for learning
  • Outstanding pastoral care and a nurturing environment
  • A community based school benefiting from good links with Warnham church
  • Excellent links with local secondary schools and the West Horsham Schools network
  • An excellent location in the village of Warnham, near to the growing town of Horsham in Sussex
  • An exciting opportunity to develop your career
  • A dedicated, caring and supportive team of staff and governing body
