We are a small village school (100+ pupils), regularly oversubscribed and one of the few accredited ‘Beach Schools’ in Sussex. We were rated ‘good’ by OFSTED in 2017 and ‘outstanding’ by SIAMS in 2015.

Following the retirement of our much respected Headteacher, the staff stepped up to fill the gap and have exceeded the Governors expectations. However, they and we feel that the school needs a full time Head to not only build on the foundations of improving pupil and staff progress but to meet the current and future challenges facing a small village school.

The staff have in the meantime, proved they are a team of professional and caring people who would support the chosen applicant. They are dedicated to seeing their school achieve an even higher standing than its size assumes.

The school has recently completed an extension and refurbishment supported by the community. It is renowned for its Christian ethos and all round experiences for children’s first and formatting school years.
