The Governors of Christ Church Pennington CE Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic, inspirational and visionary Christian Headteacher to lead our successful school into its next chapter.

Christ Church is a warm and welcoming Church of England school. We have a strong Christian ethos resulting in us achieving “Outstanding in All Areas” (December 2014) in the church school inspection. Our link with our local church is strong and the school plays an important part in the life of the community.

Graded Good by Ofsted, the school has the capacity to become Outstanding.

We are seeking to recruit an exceptional Headteacher who:

• Will further develop and celebrate the distinctive Anglican ethos of our school.
• Can lead, inspire, empower and motivate children and staff to develop a culture of excellence.
• Can cultivate a nurturing environment, promote successful innovative teaching and learning and encourage high standards of individual achievement.
• Is a natural communicator able to build on our well-developed partnerships with our children, staff, governors, parents, church, wider community and other local schools and professional agencies.
• Has proven successful leadership experience across the primary phase at senior management level.
