Due to the retirement of our long-serving and highly regarded Headteacher, the Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspirational and dedicated person to lead our school community and to continue to develop our school.
We wish to appoint:
- a practising Catholic who demonstrates a strong, lived faith and deep commitment to Catholic Education and the Catholic ethos of the school
- a person who loves and values all children as unique individuals, and ensures that all children are resilient and able to achieve their full potential
- someone who will continue to lead us on our journey as an outstanding school
- an inclusive leader and innovator who encourages, enthuses and motivates the school community through excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- someone who will maintain and develop the partnerships between our school, our parents and carers, our parish, Archdiocese and the wider community
- a leader who is open to new ideas and with a willingness to build on the existing excellence in our school
- a leader who nurtures children as individuals and celebrates progress for all.

- is friendly and kind, and who show that they care about us
- will say hello to us and smile at us in the morning
- wants us to do well and be proud of us when we do
- plans exciting new events for us to make learning fun

Twelve Apostles Roman Catholic Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
This post is likely to come under the requirements of the Childcare (Disqualification) 2009 Regulation and the successful applicant will be required to complete a declaration form to establish whether they are disqualified under these regulations.
