Avon Valley Academy and Acorn Education Trust are seeking to appoint a compassionate and inspirational Headteacher from September 2023, in this vibrant, hardworking and successful school. Located in Durrington, Wiltshire, our school has a strong reputation for being at the heart of the community and has built strong relationships with the two local army bases, at Larkhill and Bulford.

This is an exciting opportunity for an existing senior leader to build on the many established strengths of this wonderful 11-16 co-educational school, leading its enthusiastic and dedicated staff towards further enhancement of the school’s offer.

Avon Valley Academy is a thriving, co-educational school, educating young people between the ages of 11 and 16 years.
