The University of Winchester Academy Trust is looking for a creative and inspirational headteacher to lead our first brand new primary academy in Winchester. We have an ambitious vision for Barton Farm Academy and we are looking for a leader who shares our commitment to values-driven education to make that vision a reality.
Barton Farm Academy is a 2FE primary school which will serve a new housing development to the north of Winchester. As an experienced leader, this is a unique opportunity to shape the learning environment, the curriculum and your own team to develop an innovative, aspirational and inclusive academy which is at the heart of its new community.
The headteacher will benefit from the support of our sponsor, the University of Winchester, an outstanding provider of teacher education. You will be as excited as we are about the opportunities to work in partnership with the University to create an academy which is recognised for its inspirational and evidence-based learning.
