Job overview

Are you an experienced and inspirational leader with an uncompromising belief that children deserve the best education?

All Saints CofE Junior School is a two-form entry junior school in Maidenhead. We are looking for a Headteacher who will drive forward our journey from inadequate to good, building on the excellent work to date and who will manage our transition to a multi-academy trust. Our new Headteacher will also embrace our ethos of ‘loving all our neighbours’.

The successful candidate will be an exceptional leader and strategic thinker, with a proven track record of successful leadership, management, and whole-school improvement in a junior or primary school.

We seek:

  • An experienced leader with integrity, enthusiasm, and courage and with high expectations of staff and pupils and the ability to build a strong and cohesive school community.
  • A strategic thinker with the vision and passion to drive forward our curriculum and raise standards and with the commitment to the highest levels of teaching and learning.
  • A facilitator for pupils to achieve their potential during their time at the school, ensuring that they leave school as mature, rounded, resilient individuals, ready for senior school.
  • A role-model who embraces the Christian ethos of the school and who will ensure this continues to flourish within our diverse community.
  • An outstanding communicator who will build relationships and work in partnership with staff, pupils, parents, governors, MAT, All Saints Church and the local community.

In return, we offer the opportunity to make a difference to the future of our engaged, energetic, and diverse children and to work with motivated and talented staff. You’ll receive support from our new MAT, our governors and the school community in your role and with your continued professional development.

If this describes you, then we look forward to receiving your application.

We highly recommend that you visit our school so that you can get a feel for All Saints Junior before applying. To arrange a visit please contact Sally or Sue in the school office on 01628 622596 or by email on office@allsaintsmaidenhead.org
