“Outwood Grange Academy provides an outstanding quality of education” according to a recent Ofsted report and we're Outstanding in every category.
So perhaps it’s little wonder that 85% of our students achieved at least a 4+ in both English and Maths in 2017. Continuous improvement is what we’re all about, and we always go the extra mile to improve the futures of our students – and of course our staff. Our hard-working community is welcoming and friendly; students and staff make excellent progress together.
In short, this is an exceptional place to build your future, whether you are a student keen to learn or a teacher determined to progress.
We are looking to appoint a Health & First Aid Lead to provide effective first aid and medical assistance to our students, staff and visitors. This is a key role for supporting the ongoing health and welfare of both students and staff within the Academy.
The successful candidate will hold an up-to-date advanced first aid qualification and will have a strong understanding of school health issues and health and safety. They will have experience of working as a first aider in a school or workplace, providing first aid to both adults and children.
With more than 2000 students on our roll and 360 joining us every year, we can promise you the experience of a lifetime in a convenient location in the historic yet cosmopolitan Wakefield.
