South Staffordshire College are looking to recruit a Health and Safety Monitoring Officer to join the Work Based Learning Team. You will be contacting a range of employers across Staffordshire and the West Midlands, to arrange and conduct health and safety visits at employer premises and promote the college work based learning team.

The successful applicants must have experience of identifying potential hazards, undertaking risk assessments and site inspections and successfully engaging employers. You will hold an IOSH or NEBOSH qualification and have some basic employment law knowledge.

It is essential that the applicants have access to a car and be willing to use this for business purposes.
