Health & Safety Officer 

The Health and Safety Officer reports to the Head of IT & Estates.  The person in the role implements routine Health & Safety checks and ensures adequate evidence of their completion is retained.  These checks may be carried out by the person in the role in liaison with specialist external contractors where appropriate or they may be delegated to other members of the Estates team or the H&S co-ordinators across the college as appropriate.  They will determine a rolling work plan to ensure full coverage of all aspects of H&S are addressed in some way during the course of a working month, whilst identifying priority issues for immediate attention.
