The Health Centre Nurse will be an enthusiastic State Registered Nurse responsible for managing the School’s 24/7 health centre on a full time, shift work basis including day time hours, evenings (including overnight) and weekends during term time.  

Part of a small dedicated and professional team reporting to the Lead Nurse, you will coordinate the provision of onsite medical care and advice for all pupils and staff.   You will possess excellent interpersonal skills and have experience of working with young people. The successful candidate will be well organised with excellent administrative skills. An awareness of, and ability to deal with the mental health needs of young women is desirable. You will be sensitive, empathetic, patient and flexible, able to work as part of a dedicated and professional team, and confident to operate independently when lone working.

Headington is a leading day and boarding school for girls aged 3-18, set in a green 23-acre site located a mile from Oxford city centre.
