Job overview

We are seeking an experienced Receptionist to play a key role supporting the Nursing Team, undertaking reception and administration duties.

The Health Centre Receptionist supports the Senior Nurse Manager and the wider nursing team to deliver excellent care to pupils and is the first point of contact for all persons interfacing with the health centre, either face to face or electronically.

They ensure that all enquiries are responded to efficiently and courteously, oversee the organisation of appointments and manage the workflow and documentation required for the smooth running of the Health Centre.

Previous experience of customer care or dealing with members of the public in a frontline role is essential. Suitable candidates will also require experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and databases, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritise and manage changing workloads and situations.

This is a permanent job share position, working during term time, plus one week before the start of the academic year. Working hours are 25.5 per week; 8.00am to 5.00pm Wednesday to Friday. A flexible approach is necessary to adapt to the needs of the service and the role.
