(37 hours per week/52 weeks per year)

A vacancy has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic Work Based Tutor to teach, mentor and assess for Learning Unlimited with an emphasis on the higher level apprenticeship qualifications within the Service Sector.  Competency in Management, Business Administration or Customer Service is essential.

Primary responsibilities include writing delivery programmes to a very high standard, and coaching, mentoring and assessing each learner in their workplace to ensure all elements of the qualification framework / standard are successfully met for timely completion and end point assessment of the qualification. The Work Based Tutor will be responsible for the whole learner journey including on-going advice and guidance, tutorial visits demonstrating progress on each learning aim, and excellent record keeping in line with company and governing body requirements. 

Applicants must have knowledge, skills and accreditation in Management (Level 5 minimum). Successful applicants must also hold an Assessors Award (A1, D32/D33 or TAQA 301 Award) and hold, or be willing to work towards, the Verifier Award (V1, D34, TAQA 401 Award).  Training/Teaching/Basic Skills qualifications would be an advantage, although not essential. Excellent communication skills and a professional outlook are essential. Flexibility to work additional hours when required and undertake substantial travel is also essential.
