New College has ambitious targets for the development of Higher Education and has started to see results of significant planning over the past few years.
 

We are looking for a motivated professional who can continue the planning and implementation to develop the HE curriculum offer and improve the HE learner experience. We welcome new ideas to supplement the current growth plans.
 

We currently provide a range of HNC/D programmes, a franchised Foundation Degree through Bath Spa University and Higher Apprenticeships with the University of Gloucestershire. In addition to this, New College works in partnership, in London, to deliver HE and this role will support this partnership in the future, as it continues to grow.
 

The College aims to develop a wider range of HE programmes in September 2018 which include Foundation Degrees and Higher National programmes. With further aspirations over the next three years, we welcome a new HE Manager, further HE options for learners and an exciting HE learner experience at the College.
 

We are looking for a HE Manager with experience of HE in FE and knowledge of relevant legislation which may support the growth of HE at the College.
 

The College experienced a successful QAA HER (Higher Education Review) in January 2015 and since then, have participated in successful Annual Partner Reviews (APRs) with HEFCE. During October 2017, the College were inspected by Ofsted and secured a successful outcome.
 

This role will be based in Swindon at New College with periodic visits to London and other HEIs in England.
 

Key Aspects of this role:
 

To be responsible for improving the quality of teaching, learning and assessment for all Higher Education at New College.
To monitor key performance indicators and implement efficient and effective support to improve the learner experience.
To develop a HE Curriculum and manage relationships of a range of stakeholders and partners.
To lead and manage internal and external HE quality assurance and improvement systems and processes.
 

It is essential that you hold a full level 5 teaching qualification, along with English and Maths qualifications at Level 2. A leadership and management qualification at Level 4 or above would be beneficial.
