An opportunity exists for an Outreach Officer to join the Higher Education Team at Trafford College Group and play a leading role in realising our vision of being a dynamic career college.
This is an exciting time to join the Group following the merger with Stockport College. A major refurbishment programme is planned for the Stockport Campus and this represents a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to drive transformational change for students, employers and communities of Stockport and Trafford.
Working in our Stockport campus you will develop and deliver higher education outreach across the Trafford College Group, ensue activities are effectively monitored and evaluated and work collaboratively with colleagues from across other FE and HE Institutions.
Key areas of responsibility will include:
• Designing and delivering engaging HE focussed outreach activities in line with the aims of the National Collaborative Outreach Programme (NCOP).
• Delivering presentations and activities to large groups of learners and key influencers.
• Creating resources and literature to support HE outreach activities.
• Delivering high quality activities, providing an excellent learner experience.
We are looking for someone who is educated to degree level or equivalent, has proven organisational skills including the ability to plan projects/events from inception, excellent oral and written communication skills, has knowledge of the UK education system, including secondary, further and higher education and someone who has excellent networking skills with proven ability to build and maintain appropriate communication channels with key contacts and interested parties.
