Exeter College is looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic manager to lead on standards, quality and compliance for our Higher Education provision, including Access to Higher Education. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Higher Education Department, working closely with the College’s leadership team and focusing on achieving educational excellence and outstanding student achievement.

We have a diverse and expanding range of Higher Education provision, which extends from Level 4 Diplomas and Higher National Certificates through to our Level 7 Post Graduate Certificate in Education and continues to make a positive contribution to developing the higher level technical and professional knowledge, skills and qualities required by the local economy and community.
Our students continue to rate the quality of HE teaching, learning and assessment highly. This is also endorsed by our external examiners, partner universities and awarding bodies and is evident in the College continuing to hold a Gold Award under the Teaching Excellence and Outcomes Framework (TEF). The role of Higher Education Standards Manager will be central to the development and continued success of the Higher Education dimension of our College’s provision.
The successful candidate will develop strong links and communication with our Higher Education regulatory bodies, including the Office for Students as well as all of our awarding bodies and different partner universities; working to ensure that we continue to meet requirements. They will also support our Heads of Faculty and Programme Managers to ensure all aspects of our Higher Education and Access to HE continues to be delivered to an exceptional standard.
The ideal candidate will also have experience of working in Higher Education in FE and Access programmes, as well as knowledge of current Higher Education regulation, quality processes and cycles. They will be professional, hardworking and thrive in a team environment. Above all, they will have a commitment to educational standards, quality and student success.
