Higher Level Learning Assistant – Science

We are seeking a passionate Higher Level Learning Assistant to join the team.

Joining us as a Higher Level Learning Assistant, you will support teachers in ensuring that pupils engage more effectively with their learning and help increase levels of achievement through appropriate provision. This is a great opportunity to combine mentoring skills whilst working in a supportive environment.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be able to demonstrate a range of behaviour management strategies
• Be well-organised and have high expectations of achievement and behaviour
• Have the ability to engage constructively with and relate to a wide range of young people from different backgrounds
• Possess excellent communication skills at all levels

You must hold an HLTA qualification or have equivalent experience to be successful in this role.

Opened in September 2013 by the Greenwood Academies Trust (GAT) after a £13.8m capital build, we are based on Reeves Way in Peterborough and have quickly gone from strength to strength.

A dedicated team of staff aim to help support every child in reaching their full potential.
