Grade 4, points 21-25

Salary: £21,984 - £24,510 pro rata (£14,008 - £15,618 per annum, actual salary)

At Crownfield Junior we believe in working as a team for the children that we are responsible for and care for. We believe that our children are at the centre of all we do and we encourage and support them to be the best that they can be. We treat the chlidren as individuals and understand that their needs are unique to them.

We are looking for someone new, someone like-minded, to join our well-motivated, happy team. We would like to appoint an enthusiastic, organised person who has experience in supporting students to enable them to fulfil their full potential within a school environment. Previous experience of working with young children is essential as is a good standard of Literacy and Numeracy.

We are lucky to be set in beautiful grounds. Our children are great to work with: polite, enthusiastic, hard working with a sense of fun! We have a very stable staff who work together for the good of the children - they have a sense of humour too!

The HLTA would work under the direction of the Senior Management Team and the SENDCo. At all times the HLTA will work within a Year Group and plan alongside them, reporting to the Head of Year on an agreed system of supervision and management. They may be expected to manage and supervise the work of a team of teaching assistants and/or a partiulcar scheme or intervention, under the direction of the SENCo.

The HLTA will teach individuals, groups and whole classes either on their own or in the presence of a teacher and/or teaching assistant; They will also supervise/cover classes (without the presence of a teacher) in the planned or unplanned absence of other teachers in the school.

We would be delighted to show you what we have to offer and would welcome you to make an informal visit to our school. You may also wish to look at our website.

Please apply online at www.haveringschools.jobs. Should you experience any technical difficulty please contact Havering Education HR on 01708 431636.

Closing Date: Friday 16th March at midday
